The rich flavor of Danish Pastry is a treat over ice. Brew the coffee normally, cool to room temperature, refrigerate until chilled, and add brown sugar or honey to taste, ice, and cream if desired. For a frostier beverage, brew double strength, cool to room temperature, chill, and blend with plenty of ice and vanilla ice cream, milk, or yogurt. Drizzle with caramel. An orange slice placed on the lip of the glass adds a nice touch. 
   
Danish Pastry yields a light-bodied, sediment-free cup of drip coffee when the automatic drip (America’s most popular brewing method) or the manual drip method is used. For heightened flavor, brew with a French press or a vacuum pot. Both methods produce outstanding coffee since they pull flavorful oils into the brew. The best brewing method for all decaf coffees is the French press. The press will accentuate Danish Pastry Decaf’s flavor and aroma, qualities that the decaffeination process diminishes. The vacuum pot is also a good match for gourmet decaf coffees since it intensifies varietal nuances. Another option for maximizing the flavor of your coffee is to brew with 10-20% more coffee grounds. 
   
         

2 cups espresso or strong freshly brewed Danish Pastry (brew with 50% more coffee grounds)   
1 1/2 cups half and half
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Whipped cream
Ground cinnamon or nutmeg

Heat half and half in a small saucepan until steaming. Stir brown sugar and vanilla into freshly brewed coffee and pour into coffee mugs. Add steamed half and half to coffee.
