Iced Constantine Recipe

1/2 cup ground Cinnamon Hazelnut coffee
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into small pieces
3 cups cold water
1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
1/3 cup honey
Ice cubes
Half-and-half or milk

Combine ground coffee and cinnamon sticks. Using your customary brewing method, brew coffee mixture with the cold water. Add cardamom and honey to the hot coffee and stir until they dissolve. Cover and chill. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour roughly 2/3 cup chilled coffee into each glass and add half-and-half or milk to suit your taste. Serves 3-4.
Cinnamon Hazelnut resolves as a light-bodied drip coffee when either the automatic drip (America’s most popular brewing method) or the manual drip method is used. Brewing with a French press or a vacuum pot will accentuate its flavor since both methods pull flavorful oils into the brew. Paper filters used in drip brewing, on the other hand, mute a coffee’s oils and aromatics.

The best brewing method for all decaf gourmet coffees is the French press. The press will accentuate Cinnamon Hazelnut Decaf’s flavor. The vacuum pot is also a good match for decaf since it intensifies varietal nuance. Another option to maximize flavor is to brew with 10-20% more coffee grounds.

2 cups freshly brewed Cinnamon Hazelnut coffee
1 cup milk
1/3 cup honey
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

Brew the coffee. Heat milk, honey, and cinnamon together, stirring well to dissolve the honey. Add the mixture to the hot coffee. Serves 3-4.
