Caramel Vanilla is one of those gourmet coffees whose flavors suggest a dreamy dessert in the cup. Think caramel cheesecake topped with swirls of whipped cream drizzled with caramel sauce, and you’ve hit on its rich texture and dense creaminess. What’s more, this sweet indulgence won’t add an ounce of guilt since all of our flavored coffees contain absolutely no sweeteners or sugars. Caramel Frappe Recipe

1/2 cup double-strength Caramel Vanilla coffee (brew with 3-4 tbsp. coffee for every 6 oz water
1 1/4 cup small ice cubes
Caramel syrup-adjust to taste (see recipe below)
Whipped cream and caramel sundae syrup, optional

Brew coffee then stir in caramel syrup until dissolved. Cover and cool to room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator. Combine ice and chilled coffee mixture in a blender until the frappe is smooth. Pour into two tall, clear 12 oz glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sundae syrup if desired.

Caramel Syrup

1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup water
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Bring water, sugar, and milk to a boil. Simmer for 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and cool. Store in the refrigerator in a covered container
for up to two weeks.
Caramel Vanilla resolves as a light-bodied drip coffee when brewed via the automatic drip (America’s most popular brewing method) or the manual drip method. To heighten its flavor, brew with a French press or a vacuum pot. Both methods produce exceptional coffee since they pull flavorful oils into the brew. Paper filters used in drip brewing, on the other hand, trap a coffee’s oils and aromatics. 
  French press Recommended Brewing
for Decaf
The recommended brewing method for all decaf coffees is the French press. The press will accentuate Caramel Vanilla Decaf’s flavor and body, qualities that the decaffeination process diminishes. The vacuum pot is also a good match for decaf since it intensifies a coffee's flavor of origin. Another option for maximizing flavor is to brew with 10-20% more coffee grounds.

Caramel Cappuccino Recipe

3/4 cup espresso or double-strength Caramel Vanilla coffee (brew with double the coffee grounds)
Caramel syrup, adjust to taste (see recipe above)
1 ½ cups milk for steaming and frothing
Sundae caramel syrup for garnish, optional  

Stir syrup into hot coffee and pour mixture into coffee cups. Add 3/4 cup steamed milk to coffee. Whip remaining steamed milk until frothy and spoon on top. Drizzle with caramel syrup if desired.
